The Communications Manager will support the Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) business. Owned and operated by Bridgestone Americas, BSRO is the world’s largest network of company-owned tire and automotive service centers with 2,200 stores in the U.S. We are seeking a dynamic candidate with a talent for storytelling and an ability to generate high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in crisis and issues management, strong writing skills and media relations experience.

The Communications Manager, BSRO, will be responsible for internal and external communications activities for the BSRO business. This position will play a key role in managing the reputation of BSRO among various stakeholders, including but not limited to employees, media, consumers and strategic partners. The position will interact with teammates at all levels of the organization, including Business Presidents and C-suite executives, and will serve as a key partner to manage the retail business of Bridgestone through significant transformational change. The position will ensure all communications developed are high quality and align with initiatives at the BSRO Business Unit, Bridgestone Americas and Bridgestone Group Global levels. Content delivered by this position must be multi-channel with the ability to engage stakeholders through social/digital, video and traditional written communication methods; be compelling, accurate, and well organized; and have a clear and consistent style/tone.
